Broccoli Pineapple Juice

Juice a whole head of broccoli + half a pineapple, add ginger or lemon to taste.

Pineapple is very sweet so it is a nice balance to combine with broccoli. You might literally notice a buzz of energy. You can read about the health benefits of broccoli here.  Pineapple is loaded with vitamin C and contains an excellent digestive enzyme called Bromelain, which helps to balance the PH level in the body and aids in hormonal secretions. Bromelain also helps to reduce inflammation and swelling, break down mucus, and pineapple juice has shown to reduce the soreness and redness in the throat. Diabetics or people with low blood sugar should not consume pineapple juice.
